Even though f is more electronegative than cl,bond dissociation of f2 is less than cl2 due to it's small size and high electronegativity.It is low as it has interelectronic repulsion due to it's lone pair of electrons whole cl2 has a bigger size and repulsion is less

Flourine is smaller as compared to Chlorine. So, there is a large electron - electron repulsion in flourine which is less in case chlorine as in chlorine the last electron enters into 3rd shell. So, Bond enthalpy of flourine is more than chlorine
