Dear Naveen,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. How are your parents? It has been a long while since we met.
Remember I told you about the stories of the river enclosed in the mountains here that I heard from the villagers? Since the tales were so enticing, I ended up venturing out to find the river one day, and you will not believe what happened next, I really did find the river. It was tumbling over the rocks far down the valley. The water was terribly cold and it looked white in colour. I really want you to see the river too. Try coming over to my village sometime next week. We could go visit the river and play there together. It would be so much fun.
I hope you will be able to take some time and come over. It would be so much fun. Anyway, let me know as soon as possible. Give my regards to your parents. Take care.
