the brakes applied to a car produce an acceleration of 5 metre per second square in the opposite direction of motion if the car takes 3 seconds to stop after the application of brakes then calculate the distance it travels during this time​

a=-5 m/s^2

t=3

v=0

we know that

v=u+at

0=u-5*3

u=15 m/s

also

v²-u²=2as

0-225=2*(-5)*s

s=22.5 m
