the brakes applied to a car produce an acceleration of 6 metre per second in the opposite direction to the motion in the car takes 2 second to stop after the application of brakes calculate the distance travelled by the car during this time

u=v-at
u=0-(-6×2)
u=12m/s


s=v^2-u^2/2a
s= 0-144/-12
s=12m
