let the length of the rectangle be L and breadth of the rectangle =4L/5 . Perimeter =2(breadth+length)
=2(L+4L/5)=18L/5 =180=> L=180(5)/18 =50m =length . breadth=4L/5=4(50)/5=40 m. Area of the rectangle =50(40)=2000 square metres . Hope it helps you...
