The breadth of a rectangular field is twice its length if the area of the field is 1083 metre square find the cost of fencing @ rupees 35 per metre

Answer:

let the length of field = x

so breadth of field = 2x

Area of field = 1083m^2

Area of the field = l×b

1083m^2= x×2x

1083m^2 =3x

1083m^2 ÷3=x

361m=x

so length = 361m

breadth = 2× 361= 722 m

perimeter of the field = 2(l+b)

2(361 +722)

2× 1083= 2166m

cost of fencing 1 m= 35 rupees

cost of fencing 2166m= 2166m×35 rupees

75810 rupees
