Given:

  • CSA of Cylinder = 792 cm²
  • Radius = 7 cm

To find:

  1. Radius = ?

Method:

CSA of a cylinder = 2 π r h

\implies \sf{792 \: cm^{2} = 2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times 7 \times h }\\\\\\\implies \sf{792 = 2 \times 22 \times h}\\\\\\\implies \sf{792 = 44h}\\\\\\\implies \boxed{\bf{h = 18 \: m}}

∴ Height of the cylinder = 18 m

Additional Information:

  1. CSA is the Curved Surface Area of any figure. It does not include the top and bottom surfaces of the shape.
  2. TSA is the Total Surface Area including the top and bottom surfaces of the shape
