Given,

Mean of 50 observation = 80

We know that, Mean of ungrounded data is

Sum of observations/no. of observations

As given,

Sum of obs./no. of obs.= 80

Sum of obs./50 =80

Sum of obs. = 80×50
=4000
In the question,
19 is recorded instead of 91. so, we have to subtract 19 and and add 91 to the sum of observations

4000-19 =3981

3981+91 = 4072
So, the actual sum of observations is 4072

So now,.

Mean = sum of obs./no. of obs.

= 4072/50
= 81.44

I hope it helps you Pari
