Step-by-step explanation:

total volume of water to be filled in first type tin = 17.5 ×12= 210L

total volume of water to be filled in second type tin

= 15.5×15= 232.5L

therefore total volume of water to be filled= 210+232.5

= 442.5 L

Thus, 442.5 litre of water will be required to fill 12 tins of first type and 15 tins of second type.
