the car is running at a high speed. therefore if the driver falls asleep the car will accelerate and this will lead to accident

As the car is travelling at as high speed of 333km/h it is bound to get out of control(unless it is a hypercar ;P). If the driver gets sleepy the car would swivel on the road and would crash, or, The driver would feel a sudden movement and eventually the heart rate would increase and make the driver more attentive, which can make him take the car under control.
