The cells of a bacteria double itself every hour. How many cells will there be after 12h, if initially we start with 1 cell? Express the answer in powers.

if a bacteria cell Doubles itself in every 2 hours so after 12 hours the number of cells will be 2^11

this is because initially the total number of bacteria cells were2^0=1 then in the second our number of cells will be 2 similarly in third there will be 4 =2^2

so in n hours the cells are 2^(n-1)...

so in 12 hours the number of cells will be2^11=2048...
