Length = 22 m and Breadth= 15.5 m

The area of the hall is 22m x 15.5m = 341

Margin of carpet = 75 cm=0.75m

∴ Area of Carpet =


The portion uncovered = (341 - 287) = 54

A meter length of carpet = 1 m 0.82 m = 0.82

Now area of hall = 18×12.5×12.5
=2812.5m

The area of floor is = 18×12.5
=225m
Now area of uncover portion is = area of floor -area of carpet
= 225- 12×17.5
= 225-210

Area of carpet is 210m
And uncoved portion of floor is = 15m
And including the walls is = 2602.5
