Step-by-step explanation:

When two chords intersect inside the circle, the product of their segments are equal.

QUESTION : the chordsAB and CD of a circle intersect at O .If AO=5cm ,BO=3cm and CO=2.5cm then DO=?

ANSWER : here AB AND CD intersect each other
that's why by property of chord
AO ×BO = CO×DO
5×3 = 2.5×CO

that's why co =6.
