The road runs around the garden. Hence, it too makes a circle. Therefore, the radius of the greater circle is 49m.
the area of the track will be.... area of circle with r=49 - area of circle with r=42
that is:
π49² - π42² = π( 49²-42²)
22/7 ( 7)( 91)
2002 m²
therefore the cost will be... 2002*15= 30030

area of circular garden= 22/7 × 42 × 42
area of 7m wide road= total circular area - area of circular garden
=(22/7 × 49 × 49) - (22/7 × 42 × 42)
= 22/7 (49^2-42^2)
= 22/7 (49+42)(49-42)
= 22/7 × 91 × 7
= 22×91= 2002 sqm
cost= 2002 × 15=rs. 30030
