Answer:

The Circumference of the circle is 24.64 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

SOLUTION :

Given :

Circumference of a circle exceeds the diameter by 16.8 .

Let diameter be ‘d’ cm.

A.T.Q

Circumference = d + 16.8

Circumference of a circle = 2πr

2πr = d + 16.8

Diameter of a circle ,d = 2r

2r π = d + 16.8

d (π) = d + 16.8

d × 22/7 = d + 16.8

22d/7 = d + 16.8

22d/7 - d = 16.8

(22d - 7d)/7 = 16.8

15d/7 = 16.8

15d = 16.8 × 7

15d = 117.6

d = 117.6/15

d = 7.84 cm

Circumference = d + 16.8

Circumference = 7.84 + 16.8

Circumference = 24.64 cm

Hence, the Circumference of the circle is 24.64 cm.
