r=7/2 cm

area of quadrant = pi r^2 /4

= (22/7) (7/2)^2 /4

= 22×7/16

= 154/16

= 9.625 cm^2

in triangle ABC, basic proportionality theorem

as LM parallel BC, so AM/MB = AL/ LC........(1)

similarly, in triangle ACD, as LN || CD

AN/ND = AL/ LC.....(2)

using eq1 and eq1

AM/MB = AN/ ND hence proved.
