the circumference of a circle is 440 cm. find its radius and diameter.

440= 2πr
πr=220
r=70
d=2r=140

Hey friend!

Circumference=  \pi d
440=22/7*d
440*7=22*d
3080=22*d
3080/22=d
140=d

So the diameter is 140

Diameter= 2*r(radius)
140=2*r
140/2=r
70=r

So the radius is 70
