a. Diameter = 2*radius

CIRCUMFERENCE =2πr

88=2*22/7*r

88/2=22/7*r

44*7/22=r

RADIUS =14cm

Diameter =2r

Diameter =2*14=28cm

b. area of circle =πr^2

Area= 22/7*14*14

Area =22*28(14 and 7 get cancelled)

Area =616 cm^2

If area/4= 616/4=154cm^2

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi

i) circumference of circle= 2πr

D=?

88= 2πr

88= 2×22\7×r

88\2=22\7×r

44×7\22= r

4×7\2=r

2×7=r

14=r

R+R =D

14+14=28

•°•D=28
