The circumference of a circle is equal to the perimeter of a square. If area of the square is 484cm square ,then find area of the circle.

given that circumference of circle = perimeter of square =  484 cm

circumference of circle =  2 × pie × r          [ r is radius and pie = 22/7 ]

484 = 2 × π × r

r = (484/2 )  × 7/22 =77 cm

Area of circle = πr² = 22/7 × 77 × 77 = 22 × 77 × 11 = 18634 cm²

hence area of circle = 18634 cm²
