we know that ::

C.S.A. of Cylinder is = 2πrh

[ 2πr is the circumference of circle ]

i.e. the base

given :

circumference = 154 cm ---------- [ i ]

height = 25 cm

° C.S.A. of the cylinder is =

=> 2 π r h

=> 154 × h [ from ( i ) ]

=> 154 × 25

=> 3850 cm²

° CSA of the cylinder is 3850 cm²
