width of ring=radius of outer circle-radius of inner circle .

r of 1 circle=2*pi*r=88
r=88*7/44=14cm of radius

r of 2 circle =2*pi*r =66

r=66*7/44=21/2                   width of ring=14-21/2=7/2=3.5cm

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Solution :-

Circumference of outer circle, 2πr₁ = 88 cm

⇒ r₁ = 88 × 7/2 × 22 = 14 cm

Circumference of inner circle, 2πr₂ = 66 cm

⇒ r₂ = 66 × 7/2 × 22 = 21/2 = 10.5 cm

Width of the ring = r₁ - r₂

Width of the ring = (14 - 10.5) cm

Width of the ring = 3.5 cm

Hence, the width of ring is 3.5 cm.
