Given :   the co-rdinates of the vertical of triangle bare(3,-1),(10,7)and(5,3)

To find :   the co-rdinates of its centroid

Solution:

Centroid of a  triangle having vertex coordinates

(x₁ , y₁) . (x₂ , y₂) & (x₃ , y₃)

is  ( ( x₁ + x₂ + x₃)/3 , ( y₁ + y₂ + y₃)/3 )

Given coordinates are

(3,-1),(10,7)and(5,3)

Centroid  = ( (3 + 10 + 5)/3  , (-1 + 7 + 3)/3)

= ( 18/3 , 9/3)

= (6 , 3)

(6 , 3)  is the centroid of the triangle
