Let the price of bat be x
and ,price of ball be y
then,
3x+6y=3900
3(x+2y)=3900
x+2y= 1300
and,
x+3y =1300

Answer:

Let the no. of bats be x and the no. of balls be y.

Given, Cost of 3 bats and 6 balls = Rs. 3900.

And, Cost of 1 bat and 3 balls = Rs. 1300

Representing these situations algebraically,

3x + 6y = 3900 …(i)

 x + 3y = 1300 …(ii)

When (i) and (ii) is solved,

x = Rs 1300 and y = Rs 0 (Which is practically not possible.)

The graph can be plotted for the values of x and y as follows
