Color codes:

Black - 0
Brown - 1
Red - 2

Orange -3
Yellow - 4
Green - 5
Blue - 6
Violet - 7
Grey - 8
White - 9

Tolerance:

Silver - 10%
Gold - 5%
None - 20%

The colors of a carbon resistor are orange, orange, orange.
Orange, Orange, Orange indicates 3, 3, 3 zeros

So, the value of the resistor is 33,000Ω with 20% tolerance.

Hello dear ,

●●SERIES IS LIKE THIS:●●

BLACK            0

BROWN          1

RED                 2

ORANGE         3

YELLOW          4

GREEN            5

BLUE                6

VIOLET             7

GREY                8

WHITE               9

●● FOURTH BAND TOLERANCE ●●

GOLD. - 5 %

SILVER - 10 %

NO BAND - 20 %

Keep the following points in mind while calculating the resistance value⤵⤵

Colours of strips are noted from left to right.

Colour of 1st strip indicates 1st significant figure of resistance in ohm

Colour of 2nd strip indicates 2nd significant figure in ohms.

Colour of 3rd strip indicates the decimal multiplier that is no: of zeroes.

Colour of the 4th strip indicates the tolerance value or %age accuracy.

⬆⬆⬆⬆⬆⬆⬆⬆⬆⬆⬆⬆

Now , in the problem , there are three strips of orange each

From  the table 3 is the digit assigned to orange colour hence the 1stsignificant digit is 3,

The second strip is also orange hence 2nd significant digit is also 3.

3rd strip is orange hence no: of zeroes is 3 or 103.

●Since there is no other colour band hence the tolerance value is 20%.

●● Hence the value of resistance = 33*103Ω +/-20% ( Ans.)
