well let's. see,

methane's atomic mass is 12 and formula is CH4 then,

C=12, H=1×4=4

Total 12+4=16

oxygen's atomic mass = 16 ; doubling - 16×2=32

here it is 30 gm , doubling it and ratio of them will be-

16:32

4:8

2:4

1:2

so , from this,

I think 2g of oxygen is required ...
