The combustion of benzene (l) gives CO2( g) and H2O(l). Given that heat ofcombustion of benzene at constant volume is -32639 kJ mol^-1 at 25° C; Enthalpy of combustion of carbon toCO2 is –393.5 kJ mol–1 .
