Hi ,

It is given that ,

1/p , ( 1 - p )/p , ( 1 - 2p )/p .... is an A.P

Common difference = a2 - a1

d = [ ( 1 - p )/p ] - 1/p

= ( 1 - p - 1 )/p

= -p/p

= -1

Therefore ,

Common difference = d = -1

I hope this helps you.

Heya !!!

AP = 1/P , 1-P/P , 1-2P/P

Here,

First term ( T1) = 1/P

Second term (T2) = 1-P/P

And,

Third term (T3) = 1-2P/P

Common Difference (D) = T2-T1

=> 1-P/P - 1/P

=> 1-P-1/P

=> -P/P

=> -1.

Hence,

Common Difference is -1.

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU..... :-)
