Let first term of this GP be a.

According to the question -

→ 5th term = first term + 45

→ a.2^{5-1} = a + 45

→ a.2^4 = a + 45

→ a.16 = a + 45

→ 16a = a + 45

→ 16a - a = 15a = 45

→ a = 45/15 = 3

Hence ,

5th term = 16a = 16(3) = 48

Required term is 48
