When bromine react with

C3H6(propene) which is unsaturated compound it will get decolurised.

Chemical reaction:

C3H6 + Br2 = C3H6Br2

The visible change is:

Change in colour.

P. S. : the C3H6 refers to Ethyne and NOT cyclopropane

I know that for C3H6, it will be an addition reaction where bromine will be added through a free-radical mechanism. But I'm not sure which one will be faster.
