Compound ratio of 4:5 and 3:p

= 4*3:5*p

= 12:5p

Given 12:5p =3:10

We know that, Product of extremes = Product of means.

12*10=15p

120/15= p

p = 8.

Value of p is 8

heya folk !!!

4:5 :: 3:p = 3:10

let's find compound ratio of l.h.s

12 : 5p = 3 : 10

product of antecedents is equal to product of consequents

120 = 15 p
p = 120 / 15

p = 8
