When a table is very long and spread over more than one page, certain adjustments can be made by which the table headings will appear on each page.
The steps for repeating the heading row of the table on each page when the table is spread on two or more pages are:
1. Select the heading row that needs to be repeated on each page. This selection should include the first row of the table.
2. In the ‘Layout’ tab’ from the ‘Data’ group, select ‘Table Tools’ option and click on ‘Repeat Header Rows’.
3. Right-click the row that needs to be repeated in the table and click on ‘Table Properties’.
4. In the dialog box of the ‘Table Properties’, click on the ‘Row’ tab and enable the checkbox for ‘Repeat as header row at the top of each page’.
The repeated table headings will be visible only in Print Layout view or when the document is printed.
First of all select the heading row that you want on every page.
Go to "data group" button and press the "layout" .
after that there will be the option of "table tools" select it and then clicks on "Repeat header row" option.
Then go the rows that are supposed to repeat and right click on it and select the "table properties".
Then go to 'row" button and then you should click on the checkbox named " repeat as header" .
Your heading will be repeated on each page.
