The three types of matter listed as follows..

solid

liquid

and gas

among these three...

the compressibility is more in air or in gases...

because rate of diffusion is more in gases and faster in gases..

gases have high molecular distance

and can move freely...

this is the reason why they have more compressibility..

Answer:

The particles of the gases are loosely packed so there is more Molecular Space between the particles. So if we compress them the Molecules get very closer and can be easily compressed even in a Container. Example: Gas Cylinders.
