India's 2019 Constitution comprises 449 Articles. There is a Preamble, too. Such papers are split into 25 sections.

Explanation:

  • The Indian Constitution preamble is based on the pragmatic resolution written and moved on 13 December 1946 by Jawaharlal Nehru and adopted by the constituent assembly.
  • The overall number of Articles in the Indian Constitution is 449 of 22 sections and 12 schedules, following several revisions and despite deleting and inserting many Articles.
  • At the last days of the Constitutional Convention the Preamble was put in the Constitution by the Design Commission, which wrote its final copy, with Governor Morris heading the initiative.
