Answer:  Constitution of India provides to all individuals and communities freedom to profess,  practice and propagate any religion because India is a secular and federal country and its secularism is different from western secularism.

In western secularism state and religion are not interlinked and keep seperate whereas in India the religion is the friend of state (positive concept).

Article related to freedom of religion are 25-28 (Right to freedom of religion) .

Article 29- mandates that no discrimination would be done on the ground of religion, race, caste, language or any of them.

Article 30 mandates that all minorities, whether based on religion or language, shall have the right to establish and administer educational institutions of their choice
