We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

It is given;

We know that fortnight is equal to duration of 2 weeks or 14 days.

Therefore,

Petrol consumed in 14 days = 84.15 litres.

Petrol consumed in 1 day = 84.15/14 = 6.01 litres.

Hence, The answer is 6.01 litres of petrol.
