The conventional type of rainfall is not prominent in India.

Reasons :-

India is a tropical country. Conventional rainfall occurs in equatorial region. Conventional rainfall is caused by intense heating of the surface which causes the air to expand and rise.

Abundant supply of moisture in the air to produce a very high relative humidity.

As a result , Conventional rainfall is not prominent in India.
