the coordinates of a point on Y-axis equidistant from (-5,-2)and(3,2)are=?

so u want the answer ,
here is the solution
from question we can se x = 0
and
using distance formula ,

(see diagram)
AC =
 \sqrt{ {( - 5 +0) }^{2} +  {( - 2 + y)}^{2}  }
BC =
 \sqrt{ {(3 + 0)}^{2} +  {(2 + y)}^{2}  }
as. AC = BC
25 + 4 +  {y}^{2}   - 4y =  \\ 9 + 4 +  {y}^{2}  + 4y
16 = 8y
y = 2
so coordinates are
(0,2)
