ax+by=9,bc+ay=5. soln.a into 3 + b into (-1) =9 ,b into 3+ a into (-1)=5. 3a-b=9,a-3b=-5 multiply a-3b=-5 by 3 we get,3a-9b=-15 now solve by subtracting both eqns we get a=4 and b=3
