S=1/2gt2
So t=1s
V=u + at
V=10m/s-vertical
V horizontal =10
V =10\|2

saadyasinkhan: How ? i didn't understand
saadyasinkhan: Please solve on a paper and send me the solution
saadyasinkhan: Thanks allot.

Along vertical,
v² - u² = 2aS
u = 0
Vertical component of final velocity is
v_y = √(2gH) = √(2 × 10 m/s² × 5 m) = 10 m/s

S = ut + 0.5at²
H = 0 + 0.5gt²
t = √(2 h/g)
t = √(2 × 5 m / 10 m/s²)
t = 1 second
Time taken by stone to reach ground is 1 second

Horizontal component of final velocity is
v_x = Displacement / Time
= 10 m / 1s
= 10 m/s

Final velocity = √[ (v_x)² + (v_y)² ]
= √(10² + 10²) m/s
= 10√2 m/s
