After the electrolysis i.e. the process in which electric current is passed through aqueous solution of some compound or elements which leads to uts brrakdown into anions and cations, the copper sulphate solution will break down into Cu2+ cations and SO4 -2 anions. As a result the solution of copper sulphate which is blue in colour will no longer retain.

During the electrolysis of acidified copper sulphate solution with copper electrodes that is not take part in the chemical reaction as the electrode has a lower electrode potential that is easily loses electron as compared to the ions present in the electrolyte . But during the electrolysis of copper sulphate solution with Platinum electrodes the electrodes are non - attackable that is they do not enter the chemical reaction with the electrolyte this is because the electrode is having higher reduction potential than the ions present
