The cost of 10 chairs and 15 tables is rs.15,525.

Let consider the cost of each chair = a

cost of each table = b

now cost 10 chairs = 10 ×a

cost of 15 tables = 15 ×b

∴(  10 a + 15b ) =  Rs15525        ( given)

5× ( 2a + 3b ) = 5× 3105

( 2a + 3b ) = 3105

Now let consider the cost of 8 chairs & 12 tables = P

∴ We can write :-

( 8a + 12b ) = P

4 ( 2a + 3b ) = P

[ let us put the value of ( 2a + 3b) = 3105]

4 × 3105 = P

P = 12420.

Hence cost of 8 chairs & 12 tables will be Rs12420.

Ans :-  Cost of 8 chairs and 12 tables will be Rs12420.

let the cost of table be Y rupees

$,So first equation should be 10x + 15y = 15525\\By figuring common out we get, 5(2x+3y) = 5(3105)\\ Cost of 8 chairs and 12 tables be 8x+12y\\ \\Lets substitute the value of above equation,\\\\= 4(2x+3y)\\=4 (3105)\\= 12420 rupees$
