The cost of 21 shirts and 35 trousers is रु 41825.

Let  cost of shirt be x and cost of trouser be y.

So,

21 x +35 y = 41825

Divide the above eqn with 7 and multiply by 5 and get the answer.

Ans. Rs.17925

Given: 21x+35y=41825............(i)

           9x+15y=?

multiply with 3 in equation (i)

21*3x+35*3=41825*3

divide with 7 above equation

$\frac{21*3}{7} x+\frac{35*3}{7} =41825*3\frac{41825*3}{7}$

                                         9x+15y = 17,925

Hence,For 9 shirts and 15 trousers price is Rs.17,925.
