let the cost of saree be 6x and cost of 1 shirt is x

ATQ

so 2(6x) + 4(x) = 16000 ( we put the cost 6x and x )

12x +4x =. 16000. ( given)

16x = 16000

so x = 16000/16

x = 1000

cost of 12 shirt by putting the value of x

= 12 * 1000

= 12000

So the cost of 12 shirt is 12000
