hey!!

here is your answer >>>

If 37/7 meters cloth costs 85/3 , then 1 meter cloth costs how much?

This can be taken in direct variation:

37/7 : 85/3 : : 1 : x

We know that, product of means is equal to the product of extremes!.

so,

37x/7 = 85/3!.

37x = 85/3 (7)

37x = 595/3

x = (595/3)(1/37)

x = 595/111 rupees!

Hope my answer helps! ✌️

Given,
Cost of 37/7 m cloth = Rs 85/3
Therefore, Cost of 1m of cloth = 85/3 ÷ 37/7
= 85/3 × 7/37
=85×7/3×37
=595/111

Therefore, Cost of 1 m of cloth is Rs 595/111
