Hi,

For 37m we have to spend ₹6290
For 1m how much

Okay
To find 1 m cost
We just have to divide the cost/ length

In simple
6290/37 = 170
Am I right

So,

1 m cost is is is
₹170

Now in ₹ 170 we can purchase 1 m silk
So in ₹ 1

Just divide the the length by cost

In simple terms

1/170

So,
In ₹ 1 we can buy 1/170 m rope

Now lets write this in mathematics form

₹1 = 1/170 m

Now lets Multiply 4420 both side

So,
What will happen

1 × 4420 = 1 × 4420 / 170
Am I right

Now, let's equate it
This gives
₹4420 = 4420/170m
This gives us
₹ 4420 = 26 m

Am I right

Now this is the answer
We need to ₹4420 how much meters can we buy = 26m

Therefore answer = 26

Lets talk about a secret method
Don't use in test just use for recheck

That is
Cost we have to find ÷ cost given in question / length given in question

In simple
4420 ÷ 6290/ 37
4420 ÷ 170
26m

Am I right

Now don't answer this question like I answer
