1st; 4pens + 5erasers + 6penciles= 37

= 4X+ 5Y + 6Z = 37

and, 3pens + 2 erasers +1 pencil= 19

= 3X+ 2Y +1 Z= 19

let,add the both;

(4X+5Y+6Z)+(3X + 2Y+ Z )= 37+19

= 7X+ 7Y+7Z= 56

= 7(X+Y+Z)=7×8

= X +Y +Z=8

Hence ,the cost of 1 pen, pencil and eraser is 8.

so,cost of 3 of them will be 3×8= 24(ans.)
