• Let, cost of one chair be x &
• cost of one tabel be y

• 5x + 3y = 3110 ...... ( 1 )

{ from given ( b ) }

• x = y - 210 ...... ( 2 )

eq. ( 2 ) become

• x - y = - 210 ...... ( 3 )

Multiply eq. ( 2 ) by 5

• 5x - 5y = - 1050 ...... ( 4 )

subtract eq. ( 4 ) from eq. ( 1 )

5x + 3y = 3110

- ( 5x - 5y = -1050 )

y = 4160/8

y = Rs 520

Hence, cost of one tabel is Rs 520

Put value of y in eq. ( 2 )

• x = y - 210
• x = 520 - 210
• x = Rs 310

Hence, cost of one chair is Rs 310

To find cost of two chair :-

• Cost of two chair

= Rs {310 × 2}

• Cost of two chair = Rs 620

Hence, cost of table is Rs 520 and cost of two chairs is Rs 620 .

=> Total cost of one tabel and two chair

= cost of one tabel + cost of two tabel

=> Total cost of one tabel and two chair

= Rs 520 + Rs 620

=> Total cost of one tabel and two chair

= Rs 1140
