8 1/5m = 41/5m

10 1/4 rs = 41/4 rs

hence,

41/5m =  41/4 rs


then cost of per m

that is 1 m = ?

since 
41/5m =  41/4 rs

then 1 m 

=> 41/4 ÷41/5

=> 41/4 ×5/41

=> 5/4 rs
