The cost of apples and oranges is in the ratio of 6 : 9 per box. If a box of oranges costs Rs. 90, what is the cost of a box of apples?

Cost Of apples and oranges is in the ratio of = 6 : 9..

Box of oranges = 90

Let the number of apples and oranges acc. to their ratios = 6x and 9x respectively.

And if 9x = 90
Then x = 10

So, the cost of box of apples = 6*x or 6×10 = 60...
