The total cost of carpeting=1920rs
Cost per metre=8rs.
We know that,
Perimeter=Total cost/Cost per metre.
Perimeter=1920/8=240m.
Length of room=15m.
Perimeter of room=2(l+b)
240=2×(15+b)
240=30+2b
240-30=2b
210/2=b
b=15m.
